Yashica Electro 35 GT

 - 35mm Rangefinder Camera

This jewel of a camera is one of the highly respected Electro 35 rangefinder series first introduced in 1966. The cameras are sought after for their excellent handling, pin sharp fixed Yashinon lenses with a reputation for excellent colour rendition, and a very accurate, simple to use, exposure system. 

This particular example is a second generation Electro 35GT  with flat bottom, combined rewind/door release knob and 12 - 500 ASA range.

Condition. The camera is sold in full working order with case and copy of the manual. The lens is bright and clear with no fungus. The shutter and exposure system are in full working order. There is no corrosion in the battery compartment. The camera has been recently serviced and the light seals replaced. Cosmetically, there is some paint loss and light brassing on sharp edges, caused mainly by the camera case. There are no dents, scrapes or other signs of abuse.   The case is in average used condition but fully intact.
