Oak Biscuit Barrel with Silver Plated Mounts

Varnished Oak vintage biscuit barrel with ceramic interior.

Attractive traditional style with silverplated top and bottom rims, bands, lid and a plain unengraved shield. 

Probably dates to early 20th Century. 

Some loss of silver plate from the lid and a band fixing pin is missing but would not be hard to replace.

Overall, in fine undamaged condition.
