Lone Star - Firing On All Six - Original Vinyl LP

Product Description

Lone Star - Firing On All Six

- Original Vinyl LP

Lone Star are a Welsh Prog Rock band founded by Paul "Tonka" Chapman in 1975. Their debut album, Lone Star, reached No 47 in the UK charts in 1976.  Firing On All Six, the second album, was released the following year with John Sloman replacing Kenny Driscoll on vocals and reached No 36 in the UK. The band never released its third album due to management problems and it split up in 1978. John Sloman moved on to join Uriah Heap.

This album is particularly notable for prominent strong drumming and early use of synthesizers. If Prog or Heavy Rock is your thing, this won't disappoint - and it gets better the louder you play.  Generally well reviewed and should be in any Prog man's collection.
