South of the Border is the third album by  Herb Alpert & the Tijuana Brass. Released in 1964,  it was to become Alpert's first Top Ten hit and fifth gold record. This album is less Mexican sounding than previous releases and includes cover versions of a number of well known songs such as "I've Grown Accustomed to Her Face" from the musical My Fair Lady, "All My Loving"  by The Beatles, and an instrumental cover of the Frank Sinatra hit, "South of the Border."
