Rock Your Baby is the seminal song of the 1970s disco genre. Written by Harry Wayne Casey and Richard Finch of KC and the Sunshine Band and sung by soul singer George McCrae with the Sunshine Band on instrumental backing, the single made number one on both sides of the Atlantic in July 1974, selling over 11 million copies.

The hit single also titled this first album by McCrae along with other songs written by the same duo. The album reached number 13 in the UK album charts and 38 in America.
