Particularly notable among the many top class musicians on this record are Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller, both legendary figures of 20th Century popular music, Gus Dudgeon,  the highly regarded producer of Elton John's music at the time and Mike Batt, the British musician and songwriter who later became a successful music producer and is now the Deputy Chairman of the British Phonographic Society .
